Looking for the ideal pitch? Our newly designed pitches offer electricity (4 kWh per day, excess consumption will be charged), water, cable TV and WLAN - plus a fantastic view of the lake.
The Berau has been a meeting place for three generations and has been continuously developed over the decades. Our lakeside hotel with single and double rooms, flats, holiday homes and a bungalow is also located right next to the campsite - perfect for those who prefer a little more comfort.
Our new sanitary facilities and modern fitness centre provide additional comfort. A sauna area with infinity pool offers pure relaxation. Access can be booked in addition to your camping holiday. Self-catering guests will find regional specialities in the shop.
For active holidaymakers, there is a sports hire service with kayaks, SUP boards, MY ESEL e-bikes, Vespas and electric scooters - ideal for exploring the area.
Culinary delights and cosiness are not neglected: the lifestyle location ‘HIAS’ is located directly at the campsite and serves pizza specialities from the wood-fired oven, pasta and salads - also on the terrace when the weather is nice. Those who prefer traditional fare can enjoy regional dishes and the breathtaking view over Lake Wolfgangsee in the ‘Schmankerlstuben’.

Wolfgangsee / Salzkammergut
The Wolfgangsee. The popular vacation destination, represents a unique location in the Salzkammergut and is surrounded by a fantastic mountain scenery. The clear deep blue water has excellent drinking water quality. This lake is one of the warmest waters in Austria and reaches up to 26 ° in summer. Especially pleasant is the fact that this area is free of mosquitoes and you can spend even the evening undisturbed outside.
Due to the perfect location on the lake and in the middle of the Salzkammergut region, there are many exciting sports activities as well as a lot of customs and culture.
